Baptism and preparing to receive the Sacraments

A Baptismal Certificate is not required to attend St. Therese Preschool/Academy. However, if you would like to have your child receive the Sacraments, such as Reconciliation and First Holy Communion with their classmates, at St. Therese, we ask that you please baptize your child as soon as possible.

CLICK HERE to view a letter from Fr. Devdas, which outlines the baptism process depending on your child’s age. Note the process for baptism changes after a child has attained the age of seven (7)

As communicated in our STA handbook and website, the two-year grace period for students to continue wearing Mills uniform items (pants/shorts/skirt/skort/jumper) is ending at the end of this school year (June 2024). Beginning in the 2024-2025 school year, all uniform pieces must be from The Uniform Store.

Parking and Carline Reminders

For the safety of our students and staff, please be mindful of the following reminders regarding student drop off and pick up:

  • If walking your student into preschool or the blacktop, you may park at the Social Center or the church parking lot. Parking along the carline near the school buildings is not permitted, even for a short amount of time, as these spaces are for our faculty and staff.

  • Please be mindful of your speed when entering and exiting carline. There are children everywhere during these times and we want to ensure they are safe. Drive slowly on campus at all times.

  • “Cutting” in carline is not permitted. If you have a special circumstance and need your child quickly, please call the front office so we can help you with arrangements.

  • Do not enter campus through the exit from Navajo road at any time of day. It may be difficult to see cars exiting campus through this route.
